My parents are professional musicians. They often were away on tour, and I spent plenty of time in the country with my grandmother who loved to read and make up fairy tales. This had a great impact on my artistic vision.

In my works I study subjective reality as a basis for internal mystery of a person.

One of the key artistic methods in my projects is transformation. By running parallels to the tradition and the present I create my own artistic language where the habitual turns into the new and the ordinary into the festive.

In my practice I pay considerable attention to creating a narrative. Commonly my works interpret a story based on my personal experience or completely fictional. But each of them is my speculation on where I am my true self – in life or in art? How to keep integrity and the sense of inner freedom? How to avoid the outside pressure and not to be afraid of the future? My projects dwell upon fragmentary nature and estrangement of a modern human being vulnerable in the face of choice.

At the moment it is important for me not to limit myself in media and to continue to experiment. I work with photographs, videos, digital and analogue collages, abstract painting sculpture and mixed media.
