This project is a sort of a path though the perceptive reality. By deconstructing the elements of natural landscape, I create a new world living by its own laws of gravity, inhabited by mysterious creatures talking their own language.

A Space for Meaning
Photographs 246 pcs.
2021 – 2022
This project is aimed to conceive the photographic process and to dwell upon the value of photography today. It consists of the images from my personal photo archive.
I deliberately removed the subjects for which these photos had been taken, so the new visual space emerged that can be filled with anything.

Exploring the topic of ontology through dreams as an edge between the real and the unreal, I listen for the sense of self in my own dreams.
In particular, in this work I look into the disjunctive perception occurring while dreaming. This manifests itself in two misaligned aspects of perception, when, for example, we know that you see in a dream a friend or a relative and cannot recognize them. Or when you, an adult, get into your childhood.
If You Go to the Left
Performance
100 min.

This project is an attempt to find my own place in the new reality. Appealing to the fairy-tale narrative form I am living through a personal story and distancing from the surrounding reality. During the performance I am creating a uniform clue of the threads of the Russian flag. Each thread is a special path a fairy-tale hero is suggested to take. But before setting out one always has to make a choice, which determines the life and destiny.

natural and synthetic materials.

In this project I explore the belief in signs and superstitions. Each collage represents a mystical perception of reality. I create these works using self-portraits, living through the sense of transforming myself into a strange and mysterious creature.

Another spring
To be in harmony with ourselves is something that we should not lose, either now or after a pandemic. Under medical masks, we should preserve good faces, under latex gloves - warm hands, under gloomy thoughts - faith in tomorrow.
I dedicate this series to my 94-year-old grandmother Anna...
